VIC, Melbourne 29 – 30 April, 2010

In Melbourne there is a Vietnam Inheritance Symposium on at Monash University. A two day event exploring the Vietnam War and presentations on topics including Operation Babylift.

An Interdisciplinary Symposium marking the 35th anniversary of the end of the war. Speakers include Patricia Fronek, Dominic Golding, Denise Cuthbert and various people from AASRN network too. Indigo Willing, founder of AVI, will also be flying down to attend and there will be a *dinner afterwards.  Program downloadable at:

Dai Le writes: This is an important Commemorative Dinner to pay tribute to those who made personal sacrifices and died for freedom; it will also launch Vietnam Story, a website that will connect, engaged and share stories, memories and experiences of Vietnam, the impact of the war and life beyond. She has also sent out a special welcome to AVI members and all Vietnamese adoptees to attend. Cost is $80
