Jen Fitzpatrick
VN Adoptee – Australia

“The Vietnamese culture speaks to me on many levels. I feel a deep sense of connection, respect and pride. I know some of the best parts of my character are derived from my Vietnamese heritage. I believe other Vietnamese adoptees may have the resilience in dealing with whatever life throws at them too. There is a solidarity and kinship that I feel when I am with other Vietnamese adoptees. We are a unique bunch, who share similar experiences and emotions which draws us together.”
