THE ASIAN ARTS SOCIETY OF AUSTRALIA SYMPOSIUM – Saturday 1 June 2002

The Asian Arts Society of Australia (TAASA) are hosting a Symposium on “Art and Symbolism- Five Cultures: Travels through Asia and Asia Minor”.

Speakers will include:

  • Indonesian Textiles beyond Lombok – Liz Oley
  • Tibetan sculpture and Tankas – David Templeman
  • Palestinian costume of the twentieth century – Jeni Allenby
  • Vietnamese Ceramics – Kerry Nguyen-Long
  • Twentieth century Asian Art – Alison Carroll
