Catalyst Foundation is planning the 2nd Annual Vietnam Aid Expedition! Catalyst Foundation is a non-profit, non-political organization whose aim is to improve the lives of Vietnamese children through child sponsorships, direct relief efforts and adoption advocacy.
This year we will spend two weeks, June 16 – July 1 in Ben Tre, Phan Thiet and Da Lat. Everyone is welcome to join us! It’s also a great volunteer opportunity for educators, IT specialists, social community workers, health professionals, and students.
We’ll be spending one week in Phan Thiet and Da Lat with 300 orphaned and abandoned children at “Trai He” – Summer Camp. Our job is to come and play with them! While we play we’ll also have English lessons, field trips, art lessons and cultural exchanges all designed to provide e fun, help foster a child’s self-esteem and promote the benefits of education. Each camper also receives basic medical/dental exams, clothes, nourishing meals, care packages, and donated toys.
The second week will be spent at Ben Tre orphanage where will be repairing and renovating a debilitated building with fresh paint, new roof and a new computer room for the 35 orphans living there.Catalyst Foundation
